Bookmark Colouring Activity

Hooray for Book Week in Australia 21st-27th of August!

Books are so important for children and adults. Right now in Victoria our state is in lockdown due to Covid19, where we cannot leave our homes apart from a few exceptions. Books however have no boundaries. They can transport our minds past our home front door and into places of fun and fantasy, or to extend our knowledge, or explore new destinations, and these are just a few experiences books can give us. Books are Awesome!!

This week we’ve created a page of book marks for you to colour and cut out. Mail them to friends & family to brighten their day, use them as a gift (Fathers Day is just around the corner) or use them yourself. we’ve just marked a straight cut line for you to follow without a border on each bookmark so you can cut what ever pattern you like eg straight, wobbly, zigzag of use special pattern scissors if you have any. We hope you have fun with this activity and make time to read a book today.

CRAFT TIP - Laminate or cover with contact your finished bookmarks to help extend their lifespan.
